Philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
At the heart of Chinese Medicine is the view of the body as a complex combination of relationships. It is the balance of these primary and fundamental relationships that create health and longevity. The goal of the Chinese medical doctor is to determine what is out of balance and how best to correct the imbalance. These relationships are based on the substances of yin, yang, qi and blood, the primary building blocks of TCM diagnostics.
